Our facilties and experience at studying the effects of drugs on metabolic disorders puts us in a prime position to anticipate the need for better foods. Indeed, many biological models available at Metabrain can mimic how diabetes appears or how obese patients utilize their energy. Therefore, using these models to study the impact of foods, nutrients, nutraceutics, or continuous access to low-doses of drugs can benefit the food, nutraceutic and OTC businesses.

Metabrain’s collaborative approach to innovation aims to lead to the creation of peripheral start-up companies which will require funds to develop.
